Many village children have to drop out of school because there parents can not afford to send them. Financial problems caused some children to be sent for cattle feeding work and some for common field labor work to earn money for their families. Many parents are alcoholic and are Hindu background. All are Untouchable/Dalit caste. After joining our children's home 3 years ago, most families have accepted Christ and they are living happily. We have taken the official Transfer certificate from the village where they were living and all have joined in the Gundmagare village government school. Now the children are studying well and also growing spiritually.

Support for one year: $173

Cost per month: $14.50

N.Sukunya daughter of Nagaraju. She is studying in 2nd grade. Her father has five children and is a poor laborer, making about $2.25/day, when he can find work. Her family could not afford to send her to school and they heard about our home from someone else.  Since she has joined us, she is studying well. Her family had been worshipping idols but now they have left all idol worship and have accepted Christ.

Your funding supplies a child with Christian care/training, healthy food, schooling/supplies/uniforms, shelter, clothing, and allows for Christian influence into their families.

Moved in Heart Ministries sponsorship request:

Narasmma  Age 70 years

Narasmma  is a Dalit widow and with nobody to look after her.  She has one child but they are not taking care of her because of old age. She came to the
church asking for help so we have allowed her to join the old age home. She has become a Christian and has been baptized.

She suffers from chronic exema on both feet.

Dr. A.C. Gerard, MD

This supplies this older Christian sister with Christian training, healthy food, shelter, medical attention and medicines, clothing, and allows for a small Christmas gift. This will also pay for her funeral when it is time for her to go be with the Lord.
